NOTICE OF REGULATION CHANGE
EFFECTIVE 20 APRIL 2012
Glass beverage containers are prohibited on the Reservoir
Per PRVWSD Regulation Part 203, Chapter 6, Rule 6.1:
(b) Possession of Glass Containers. It shall be unlawful for any
Person to possess, put, throw, dump or leave on any portion of the
Reservoir Project Area inundated by water, or within any public
park, public boat ramp or public recreational area, any glass
beverage container to include but not limited to beer, wine,
spirits, sports drink, soda , etc.
NOTE: Each offence is punishable by fine up to $1,000.00.
PLEASE MAKE YOUR BEVERAGE CHOICES AT THE RESERVOIR ACCORDINGLY.

Public Parks and
Boats Ramps to Remain Open Until Midnight for Pepsi Pops
Pearl River Valley Water Supply regulations prohibit the use of
public parks, boat ramps, and other properties after hours posted at
those facilities. Many of those facilities are posted to be closed
at sunset; some are posted to be closed at sunset unless engaged in
fishing activities. Due to the increased activity expected on the
water on Friday, 11 May 2012, all parks and boat ramps will remain
open until midnight.
Please use these facilities, leave only your footprints, and be
prepared for the parks to be closed at midnight that night.
